Magnesium in your evening routine
Magnesium contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system, to normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. Night Magnesium (bisglycinate) is our best-selling evening product; Night Time powder is the same magnesium as a tasty evening drink. Amino acids and plants
Glycine, L-theanine, L-tryptophan and 5-HTP are amino acids for which no health claims have been authorised in the European Union – so we describe them honestly as ingredients, not promises. Valerian and ashwagandha are traditional plants that have been used in the evening for centuries.
What really affects sleep
The same bedtime at weekends too, screens off an hour before bed, a cool and dark bedroom, and no caffeine after midday. No capsule replaces these – but an evening routine with tea, a book and magnesium is how many people like to end their day.
Frequently asked questions
When should I take magnesium in the evening?
About an hour before bed, with a light snack or an evening drink. That way it becomes part of a calm routine.
Can these products be taken together?
Magnesium and glycine go well together (Night Magnesium is in fact magnesium bisglycinate). Don't take 5-HTP and L-tryptophan together or with antidepressants – talk to your doctor first.
Is ashwagandha suitable for daily use?
Ashwagandha is usually taken in courses (6–8 weeks), followed by a break. It is not recommended during pregnancy or with thyroid medication.
Why don't you promise "better sleep"?
Because no such claim has been authorised in the European Union for any of these ingredients. We describe honestly what's in the product and let you try it for yourself.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of the reach of children.
