Which form of silicon should you choose?
Silica Tonic silica gel is a liquid silicic acid gel that you take by the spoonful or mix into water; it is also available with ginger and lemon. Strong Kieselguhr is a powder made from diatomaceous earth that you stir into a drink.
Silicon with zinc and biotin
There are no EU-authorised health claims for silicon itself. The Zinc & Biotin + Silicon capsules, however, contain zinc, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair, nails and skin, and biotin, which contributes to the maintenance of normal hair and skin.
How to use
The gel and the powder are usually taken in the morning on an empty stomach or between meals, with plenty of water. Follow the daily amount stated on the package.
