What is a plant extract?
To make an extract, part of a plant is soaked or processed with water, alcohol or another solvent to concentrate the plant's characteristic compounds into a smaller volume. This is how a single capsule can hold, for example, 300 mg of valerian root extract or 400 mg of citrus bergamot extract. Each product page gives the exact Latin name of the plant, the part of the plant used and the amount.
The range
In capsules: valerian, ashwagandha with Bioperine®, saffron, citrus bergamot, common barberry (berberine) and Super Garlic + Zinc. Combination products: Menopause for women and Testo
Booster for men, which combine plant extracts with vitamins and minerals. For freshness, there are mouth sprays with menthol and essential oils.
Plants and health claims
Health claims for many plants are still under evaluation in the European Union. For this reason, we only make health claims for the vitamins and minerals contained in the combination products – for example, zinc contributes to the normal function of the immune system. For plant products, we describe the composition and use honestly.
Safety
Plant extracts can affect how medicines work. If you take medication, are pregnant or breastfeeding, consult your doctor or pharmacist before use. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.
