What led to your decision or desire to become an entrepreneur?

The entrepreneurial spirit has been with me since childhood – from early on I started making various buying and selling transactions, producing things and doing side jobs alongside school. Business has always been my passion and I wanted to free myself from the limitations of salaried work, to be freer with time and accomplish more.

What does being involved in entrepreneurship give you?

Entrepreneurship and getting things done is a true passion for me. I believe that we are all actually our own employers and those responsible, so I don’t distinguish whether you’re an employee or entrepreneur – everything depends on yourself. With salaried work, the team often disappears after five o’clock, with entrepreneurship you can accomplish much more than from nine to five. For me, entrepreneurship provides energy, free time, additional income, and exciting challenges to do something completely new and special.

What does your company do?

My company NordenBio OÜ deals with importing and selling Puhdas+ series products – vitamins, food supplements and natural cosmetics – in Estonia. We plan to expand to the Baltic and European markets in the near future. Puhdas+ is the only European health product series that is completely free from preservatives, artificial colors, sweeteners and magnesium stearate, offering pure, natural and quality alternatives for daily well-being. Three most important things to consider before starting entrepreneurship?

For me, the three most important things when starting entrepreneurship are:

  1. Energy – as an entrepreneur you need to have enough energy and passion to initiate, develop and manage projects.
  2. Time – it’s important to plan your time so that you achieve freedom and don’t get under excessive time pressure.
  3. Sense of responsibility and structure – these are necessary to create scalable and sustainable business models.
